Puts graft — a prebuilt graph of every symbol, its file:line span and who calls what — in front of both you and the model: a composer chip naming the index the current session is serving, five model tools (graft_ask, graft_grep, graft_callers, graft_skeleton, graft_map), a /graft command with auto-rebuild after edits, and a graft viz button that opens the graph in DSH's built-in right sidebar.
dsh-graft-plugin puts graft — a prebuilt graph of every symbol, its file:line span and who calls what — in front of both you and the model, and does four things. A composer chip names the graft index the current session is actually serving, whether it still matches the code, and how many tokens graft has saved in that repo. Five tools for the model — graft_ask, graft_grep, graft_callers, graft_skeleton, graft_map — are resolved per session, so one DSH can serve several workspaces at once. /graft builds or rebuilds the index and auto-rebuilds after the model edits files (debounced, reusing graft's own sync runner). A graft viz button opens the graph in DSH's built-in right sidebar (0.1.5+), in dsh-better-sidebar where present, or a browser tab as a last resort. Unlike the graft mcp server, the root is resolved from the session's own workspace.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-graft-pluginCopied verbatim from the README's Install block, which follows it with dsh --profile web. The README warns that pnpm 10+ blocks postinstall scripts: if add ends with ERR_PNPM_IGNORED_BUILDS, run pnpm approve-builds in the profile and re-run the add so the bundle row is written. The graft CLI must be on PATH (npm install -g @nanonets/graft).
Compatibility
Requires Node 22+ and the graft CLI on PATH. The README documents a version matrix (0.1.2-rc.1–0.1.0-rc.7 full feature set via dsh-better-sidebar; 0.1.5-rc.2/0.1.5 chip, tools, /graft and auto-rebuild plus the built-in right sidebar; 0.2.0-rc.2 needs plugin 0.2.1+). Under pnpm 10+ the postinstall that installs graft is blocked, so the global install is a required step rather than a fallback.
