dsh-web-notifications adds tone and browser-notification alerts for DSH, for when an agent session needs you and you are not looking at the tab. It notifies exactly the rows the Settings panel shows, in panel order: turn complete (the agent finishes its final answer), approval needed (the agent asks permission, showing its stated reason), waiting for your answer (the agent stops mid-task for a question or a plan to review), turn failed (a turn dies on a provider or network error after retries), agent stalled (a reply is cut off by the output-token limit), goal complete and goal blocked (off by default). Settings cover per-type switches and tone pickers, a Test button that sends a real alert, tone volume, muting tones or hiding cards while the tab is focused, maximum card body length, notifying for subagent sessions, and custom tones (up to 500 KB each, validated by content). Eleven tones ship built in, seven generated in the repository and four from a CC0 pack. Approval reasons, question text and failure messages go to open tabs and are only logged as request id plus length — never persisted.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add github:aterti/dsh-web-notificationsCopied verbatim from the README's Install block. Host-side edits need a dsh restart; client.js edits only need a browser refresh. No dsh source changes.
Compatibility
Adds a Notifications section to Settings with per-type switches so you can keep some alerts and silence others; client.js is plain client code and the plugin writes nothing outside its data directory and phones home nowhere.
