@comecaramelos/dsh-unity-mcp connects DeepSeek Harness to the Unity MCP server — the unity-ai-relay executable the Unity AI Assistant package installs — through the stock DSH MCP stdio bridge. Every tool the relay registers is exposed as a normal mcpunity* tool, and the plugin adds a settings/status card in the Web GUI. The card lets you pick the relay executable (with a 'Fetch executables' search that also walks visible Windows user profiles from a WSL host), add extra flags after the bridge's --mcp mode flag (one per row, e.g. --project-path=..., --name=..., --log-level=debug), and redirect the relay's stderr into a log file to keep progress lines out of the DSH console. Nothing is picked automatically and a chosen path stays chosen (a path that later stops running reads broken rather than being silently re-resolved). Per-profile row config covers serverName (tool namespace), relayPath/relayPaths, extraFlags, an optional launcher command, env/cwd, toolCallTimeoutMs, failOnStartupError, a reconnect policy and stderr routing; DSH_UNITY_MCP_FLAGS seeds launch flags for one run.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add @comecaramelos/dsh-unity-mcpCopied verbatim from the README's Install block. The README notes the plugin downloads nothing — it launches the unity-ai-relay executable your Unity Editor installed via the stock @deepseek-ai/dsh-mcp-client stdio bridge.
Compatibility
Requires the Unity AI Assistant package (com.unity.ai.assistant) to be installed and a Unity Editor to be running — the relay is the Editor's side-channel, so an Editor that is not running answers 'No Unity Editor connected'. Configuration lives under Settings → Plugins → Plugin configuration → DSH Unity MCP; a Windows relay launched through the WSL interop mount works like a native one since it speaks MCP over stdio, and its arguments must keep their Windows spelling.
