It registers an independent provider route (deepseek-hint) backed by its own chat-completions adapter that emits a structured AgentHint on the X-Agent-Hint HTTP header as UTF-8 JSON, base64url-encoded, carrying session identity, agent type, call index and compaction epoch along with lineage for spawned or forked sessions. The hint is derived per request from the session's durable event log rather than injected statically, the request body stays in the provider's original format without hint fields, and to an endpoint that does not understand the header it is a harmless unknown header. Auxiliary calls and requests without a session identity carry no hint.
