imroc/dsh-project-prompt
dsh-project-prompt keeps private, per-project prompt rules in $DSH_HOME instead of the repository and injects them into every matching session - by git remote, local repo path or cwd prefix - including subagents and every git worktree, with a KV-cache-friendly system-prompt section or a first-message inject mode.
dsh-project-prompt keeps private, per-project prompt rules in $DSH_HOME rather than in the repository - the right home for machine-specific E2E procedures, internal-only endpoints and personal workflow preferences that do not belong in a committed AGENTS.md. Each rule matches sessions by git remote URL (any clone, anywhere on disk), by local main-repo path or by plain cwd prefix, with keys inside a rule OR-combined, and a linked worktree is traced back to its main repository through the .git gitdir: pointer so a rule written once covers worktrees created later and their subdirectories. Subagents inherit the session cwd and so follow the same rules. Text is injected either as a stable system-prompt section (KV-cache friendly, supporting {{cwd}}/{{model}}) or as a first context message for text containing literal braces such as Helm or Go templates.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-project-promptCopied verbatim from the README's Install block; the README also documents dsh plugin --profile web add github:imroc/dsh-project-prompt and a matching remove form.
Compatibility
Zero dependencies - a single ESM file importing only Node builtins, with no build step. It uses the agent lifecycle edge (agent/session-start up to 0.1.5, agent/created from 0.1.7) plus systemPrompt.section and agent.inject, so it fails loudly at load time on malformed rules (missing text, or an unknown {{var}} in section mode) rather than on every request. Rules live in the machine-local $DSH_HOME/cordis.patch.yml layer that applies to every profile on the machine; the file is watched and saving it hot-reloads the plugin row for sessions started afterwards.
