kyomufs/dsh-opencode-zen

Brings the OpenCode Zen free tier into the DSH model picker: nine free models authenticated with the literal key public, so there is no signup, API key or billing. It disguises requests with the official OpenCode CLI headers, applies built-in 429/5xx backoff and throttling, maps failures to DSH-native retry codes, clamps context/output budgets to models.dev metadata, and only marks a model vision-capable after a live probe passes.

dsh-opencode-zen brings nine free LLMs (Big Pickle, Jev 1.13, two Xiaomi MiMo versions, Muse Spark 1.3, Ling 3.0 Flash Fin, Space Bunny and two NVIDIA Nemotrons) into DeepSeek Harness at zero cost with no signup. Requests carry the same headers as the official OpenCode CLI (x-opencode-client, session IDs, gate tools) so they bypass the FreeTierError; a built-in 429/5xx backoff, request throttling and a hang-proof first-event/body-idle watchdog keep the free quota from being blown and turn dead tunnels into aborts instead of stalled turns. Failures are mapped to DSH-native codes (SERVER, RATE_LIMIT, TIMEOUT, TRANSPORT, EMPTY_RESPONSE) so the host retry policy fires, sessions stay safe across retries (the registered policy is the host's resolved flat shape, a 401 rotates to the next pooled key in-process), and truncated streams commit the partial answer honestly instead of failing the turn. Context windows and output caps come from models.dev metadata per model (MiMo caps at 32k output, Muse at 131k), reasoning-effort ladders only offer levels the endpoint actually answers, and vision: true is set only from a passing probe against the live Zen wire — every other model stays honest text-only so DSH degrades images to placeholders rather than hitting provider errors.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add github:kyomufs/dsh-opencode-zen

Copied verbatim from the README's Installation block (GitHub form).

Compatibility

Brings the OpenCode Zen free tier into the DSH model picker with zero config: after dsh plugin add, restart dsh web and the opencode route appears in the model selector. The official free tier authenticates with the literal key public — no account, signup or API key — and the 0.15.0+ settings surface is a segmented auto / ipv4 / ipv6 control inside Settings → OpenCode Zen, with the status server bound to loopback only. It pairs with dsh-api-key-pool for round-robin rotation across multiple free accounts.
