dsh-memory-vault gives DeepSeek Harness persistent OKF memory: a Python MCP server backed by SQLite FTS5 over Markdown, two Cordis plugins exposing it as ten MCP tools and the /brain and /checkpoint commands, and a vault starter with per-type templates. Markdown stays the source of truth and the index is derived from it, and the vault is only ever added to on upgrade so entries survive.

It bundles a Python MCP server backed by SQLite FTS5 over Markdown, two Cordis plugins (memory-mcp and memory-auto) that expose it to the agent as tools and commands, and a vault starter with per-type templates, a type registry and a tag vocabulary. Markdown stays the source of truth and the SQLite index is derived from it. An install gives you ten MCP tools (search_memory, store_decision, store_fact, store_learning, store_convention, store_profile, store_source, export_memories, get_profile, ping), three commands (/brain and /checkpoint from memory-mcp, /checkpoint-auto from memory-auto), and automatic capture that digests on git commit, compaction, idle and session end.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add @luisarg/memory-mcp@0.1.8 @luisarg/memory-auto@0.1.8Copied verbatim from the README's Install block, which installs both prebuilt Cordis plugins (no build approvals, no repo clone); the version is pinned because pnpm's default minimumReleaseAge would otherwise resolve an older release. First boot installs the vault server under $DSH_HOME and the vault starter at ~/.memories automatically.
Compatibility
Bundles a Python MCP server (SQLite FTS5 over Markdown). From 0.1.8 the peer ranges include @deepseek-ai/dsh-skill for DSH 0.2. The vault is never overwritten on upgrade - only missing entries are copied. English README.
