dsh-plugin-ponytail is a whip easter egg for the DeepSeek Harness web GUI, inspired by the Claude Code ponytail whip. A small toggle in the composer dock arms a cursor-following rope whip - a rigid handle fixed at 135 degrees, a tapering body and a gravity-drooped tail - and clicking the conversation transcript cracks it with a randomized whip-crack sound and sparks while sending a hurry-up message to the model. A Ponytail settings page manages the hurry-up lines as groups that can be created, renamed, enabled/disabled and deleted, with prompts editable, deletable and movable between groups, applied immediately and persisted in user settings; with every prompt disabled the whip keeps its visuals and audio but sends nothing. An interrupt-before-send switch (default off) decides whether a crack queues the hurry message behind the running turn or cancels the in-flight turn first and sends it immediately.

Compatibility
A client bundle plugin with a dsh.bundle declaration, so dsh plugin add initializes the profile if needed, installs the package, auto-appends it to dsh.profile.bundles and its cordis.patch.yml inserts the plugin row - then restart dsh web and refresh the page. Crack audio plays a random MP3 from the plugin's own public/ directory served by the client plugin host (no dependency on the web app's own assets), and every crack also broadcasts a deepseek-pet:whip event that the DeepSeek Pet plugin can react to.
