Remote-SSH-style workspaces for DeepSeek Harness: pick an SSH host and directory and the agent reads, edits, builds and tests directly on the remote filesystem.
dsh-rw brings Remote-SSH-style workspaces to DeepSeek Harness: you pick an SSH host and a remote directory, that directory becomes a native DSH workspace, and the agent works directly on the remote filesystem through rw_* tools over a persistent ssh2 pool — no mirror and no sync, the remote is the single source of truth. Since 0.4.0 a shim mode (on by default) intercepts DSH's native read/write/edit/bash tools and translates them to remote execution, so the agent works as if the workspace were local without learning new tools. The local directory DSH registers is an empty placeholder (no remote contents), paths are confined to the picked workspace root, and SSH host keys are verified against ~/.ssh/known_hosts. It fails loud rather than silently running local, with structured error codes for connection/auth/path/host-key failures.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add github:MDR-EX1000/dsh-rwCopied verbatim from the README's 'Install' block, which explicitly uses the compact repository basename shown by DSH Market. The README notes the repository tracks the compiled lib/ output and has no prepare, prepack, install or postinstall lifecycle hook, so installing this source needs neither a local TypeScript toolchain nor build permission.
Compatibility
The README states version 0.4.6 supports DSH 0.1.2-rc.1 and 0.2.0-rc.2, plus compatible later 0.1.x / 0.2.x releases.

FAQ
- Does it sync or mirror the remote files?
- No — the README says the remote is the single source of truth and the local directory DSH registers is an empty placeholder that never holds remote file contents, so there is nothing to sync.
- Do I have to learn new tools to work remotely?
- No — the README says the default shim mode intercepts DSH's native read/write/edit/bash tools and translates them to remote execution, so the agent works as if the workspace were local.
