dsh-subagents-model shows which model a DeepSeek Harness session is really running on: a header chip names the model and reasoning effort of the open conversation (including a subagent's, marked inherited when it came from a parent), a composer-dock chip shows which models a whole run delegated to, and sidebar hover cards report what each conversation actually did.
dsh-subagents-model shows which model a DeepSeek Harness session is really running on. A chip in the conversation header names the model and reasoning effort of whichever conversation is open - including a subagent's - marking it (inherited) when the route came from a parent and (switching) while a queued selection is unconsumed, and its tooltip adds the model breakdown across descendants. A chip in the composer dock (conversation.composer.dock) shows how many subagents the whole run delegated to and which models they ran on, rendering nothing for a run that never delegated. Sidebar hover cards add model, effort, turns, steps, active time, tokens, cache, context window, task and kind. It reads the modelSelection Session projection (so it reports the route the session actually used, not the one configured) and adds three seats with their own ids, so no shipped occupant is displaced and the harness's own subagent dropdown is untouched.
Install
dsh plugin add dsh-subagents-modelCopied verbatim from the README's Install block (the GUI shows the bare package name dsh-subagents-model); the README's other-routes table also documents a pinned version, a pinned commit (github:mirelconstantin/dsh-subagents-model#<sha>), a tarball and a local checkout.
Compatibility
The only compatibility field the runtime evaluates is the peer range on @deepseek-ai/dsh-app-boot (>=0.2.0-rc.2 <0.3.0-0); a plugin outside it is skipped at boot with a warning. No build step and no installed dependency. Model selection is off by default, so a subagent reading 'Inherited from parent' is the expected case, not a bug. English and Romanian locale dictionaries ship.
