polaris-smart/dsh-devices

dsh-devices turns several machines running DeepSeek Harness into one fleet: paired devices discover each other over same-LAN mDNS (or reach each other over SSH) and auto-register model-facing tools into every dsh session, so any dsh-hosted agent can drive another device with no core changes and no leftover patches when it is uninstalled.

dsh-devices turns your machines into a fleet. It is a pure plugin mount - zero core changes, and uninstalling leaves no core patches - where paired devices discover each other over mDNS (or reach each other over SSH) and auto-register model-facing tools into every DSH session, so any dsh-hosted agent can call another device's tools directly. Platform notes cover macOS (mDNS auto-announce starts with the plugin, remote login off by default) and the other tested platforms, and the tools are session-visible through the host plane.

Install

dsh plugin add dsh-devices

Copied verbatim from the README's install block; a tgz from Releases is documented as dsh plugin add ./dsh-devices-<version>.tgz.

Compatibility

Requires at least two devices, each with dsh-devices installed (pairing is two-sided). Connectivity is same-LAN mDNS multicast (UDP 5353, which does not cross routers or subnets) or publicly reachable devices with SSH (port 22) open; NAT-isolated devices cannot connect to each other in this version (P2P/Tailscale is planned for V2). Verified on macOS, Ubuntu 22.04+ and Windows Server 2025 / Windows 11. English README with a Simplified Chinese translation.
