Where Did My Tokens Go? puts a live in/out token badge on the DeepSeek Harness deep-thinking indicator and tags each finished operation row with the cost of its own step: the input figure rides the harness's own contextPressure projection until the provider reports inputTokens, output counts are estimated client-side while streaming and snap to the authoritative value, and numbers auto-scale into K/M/G/T with a configurable merged or split display.

Where Did My Tokens Go? puts "where did this turn's tokens go" directly in the transcript: a live in/out badge rides the deep-thinking indicator and every finished operation row is tagged with the cost of its own step, and once installed every conversation gets it. The input figure is the harness's own prompt-size projection (contextPressure), live during the input phase without waiting for provider usage, and once the provider reports inputTokens that authoritative value takes precedence; output counts are estimated client-side while streaming and snap to the authoritative value when the stream settles. Numbers auto-scale into K/M/G/T with sensible rounding (a rounding that would print 1000K promotes to 1M), a gear menu can lock a site to one unit, and the display is configurable as merged (a single in/out label by phase) or split (in and out shown together).
