dsh-context-sniper is lossless context archival and retrieval for DeepSeek Harness: when a long conversation times out during prefill or overflows the context window it keeps only the newest messages on the model surface, archives the older ones verbatim to a durable per-session file, rewrites the surface with one compact marker and authorizes the retry, letting the model pull archived text back with the context_sniper_recall tool instead of a lossy summary.
dsh-context-sniper is lossless context archival and retrieval for DeepSeek Harness. When a long conversation makes the local model time out during prefill or overflows the context window, it keeps only the newest messages (up to a token budget) on the model surface, archives the older messages verbatim to a durable per-session file (nothing is summarized or lost), rewrites the surface with one compact marker telling the model how to get the content back, and authorizes the retry; if it cannot free enough context it falls through to the built-in dsh-compaction-basic summarizer as a safety net. The model retrieves archived content with the context_sniper_recall tool, with maxSearchHits and hitMaxChars controlling how many hits and how many characters per hit are returned.

Compatibility
Works with DSH 0.2.0-rc.1+ (verified against 0.2.0-rc.1 and rc.2). Three user-facing knobs are editable in Settings - Context Sniper with live hot-reloadable saves. English README with a 中文 translation.
