will00768-max/dsh-open-project

dsh-open-project adds an Open project folder split dropdown to the DeepSeek Harness session header and a matching row to the Workspace overflow menu: the host scans for editors, IDEs, terminals and file managers actually installed (VS Code, Cursor, Zed, JetBrains, Neovim and many more) and launches the chosen one at the current session working directory.

dsh-open-project adds an Open project folder split dropdown to the DeepSeek Harness session header (in the conversation.session.header.utilities list) and a matching 'Open project folder' row to the left sidebar's Workspace overflow menu. The dropdown scans the host for code editors, IDEs, terminals and file managers that are actually installed - from a broad catalog including VS Code, VSCodium, Cursor, Trae, Zed, Windsurf, Sublime Text, Notepad++, the JetBrains family, Eclipse, NetBeans, Qt Creator, OpenCode, Codex, Claude Code, Aider, Gemini CLI, Neovim, Helix, Micro, Vim, Windows Terminal, Alacritty, WezTerm, Tabby, Warp, ConEmu, Cmder, PowerShell 7, Git Bash, Total Commander, plus always-present PowerShell, Command Prompt and File Explorer - and lists only the ones it finds. Choosing an entry launches that app with the current session's working directory.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add github:will00768-max/dsh-open-project

Copied verbatim from the README's install line; the README also documents a source-checkout form (pnpm dsh plugin --profile web add github:will00768-max/dsh-open-project) and a local-path form.

Compatibility

A DeepSeek Harness Web plugin split into a Host half (detection, icon extraction, process launch) and a browser half (dropdown, interaction state, Workspace menu row, stylesheet) that talk over the package-private Client→Host RPC (list-apps, open-with, open-workspace). Detection is dynamic and platform-aware: on Windows it probes the App Paths registry, PATH commands, common install locations and the Uninstall registry, extracting a real product icon; on Linux and macOS it resolves PATH commands and common install paths.
