dsh-idea is a DeepSeek Harness bundle for evidence-backed external opportunity and product discovery. It is external-first: it can scan user-selected public pages for bounded source snapshots, then normalize optional Markdown, CSV, TSV, JSON and JSONL research records, filter and rank pain-point signals, cluster them into opportunity themes, draft multiple solution directions and generate a falsifiable experiment plan - turning 'find an idea' into a repeatable loop of signal, problem, opportunity, candidate idea and smallest useful test. idea_artifact_review validates an artifact's version, stable ID, content fingerprint and freshness before an opportunity is handed to product, and never turns an opportunity draft directly into a product requirement. It is part of a six-plugin suite with a public collaboration contract.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add github:winyh/dsh-ideaCopied verbatim from the README's installation block (install into the profile you actually launch; the README also documents a ./package.tgz tarball install).
Compatibility
Node.js must satisfy ^22.19.0 || >=24.0.0. Install into the profile you actually launch (web for dsh web); installing into default does not enable it in web. A GitHub source install uses prepare to build the entry point, so if pnpm blocks it you add the printed package key to that profile's pnpm-workspace.yaml under allowBuilds. The profile supplies tools, fs, and web with its search/fetch providers (included in the standard DSH base, so custom profiles must configure them explicitly).
