Keeps your standards visible in AI-assisted development: after each coding task it shows cyclomatic, cognitive and nesting-depth complexity changes per file and function so you can decide what to review.

Noema is a DSH plugin for developers who care about the code they ship: after each coding task it shows complexity changes so you can decide which files and functions need a closer look. It compares three metrics before and after each task — cyclomatic complexity (independent paths), cognitive complexity (difficulty of following control flow, accounting for branches, nesting and recursion) and maximum nesting depth — and expanding a file or function locates changes within it, with [Top Level] separating a file's own code from named child functions. Unchanged code is hidden by default and can be revealed. Analysis runs locally and compares the workspace at the start and end of each turn, including manual edits made during that time, and results stay outside the model context. The README is careful that a lower score alone does not mean better code — the metrics help focus review, and no card appears when there are no supported code changes (including comment- or formatting-only edits), while code changes still appear when the scores remain the same.
