Scientific Figure Library (SFL) is a local-first MCP server and MCP App for your scientific figures. You import a figure and its code, review them, and publish an immutable Release to one global Library on your machine, then reuse that exact template across projects in DeepSeek Harness as well as Claude Science, Wisp Science, Codex, Cursor, Pi and other stdio MCP hosts. Installing the package into the DSH web profile registers the figure-library Skill and mounts @deepseek-ai/dsh-mcp-client against the package; after install you bind one global Library directory on disk and, if setup_required is reported, a Local workspace before searching. The Library stays on disk you choose, nothing is copied into a project until you confirm it, and the server never executes plotting code.
Install

Compatibility
A local-first MCP server and MCP App: the Library stays on a disk directory you choose and nothing is copied into a project until you confirm a materialization. The server does not execute plotting code and contains no second model - the host agent inspects files while SFL hashes, versions, gates and publishes them. Default retrieval order is Local Published, then FigureYa, Open Figure Modules and enabled dynamic personal Providers; the bundled Community snapshot is frozen and excluded from default search, and a bundled extra catalog may contain zero releases after an authorized redaction, which is a healthy empty source rather than a failure.
