dsh-intelligent-ui brings generative UI to DeepSeek Harness - the model writes an interface instead of describing one, an open-source take on what ChatGPT calls Intelligent UI and Claude calls Artifacts. Ask for a plan calculator where you can change seats and billing period and the reply becomes a working calculator: sliders you can drag, toggles you can flip and numbers that recompute locally with no second model call, drawn by the host with its own type scale and colours in both light and dark mode. Because artifacts are persisted with version history, the model patches the same card in place while keeping your place, and a card from a previous session survives an app restart. The sandbox is an execution container, not a display container - compiled code runs in a DOM-less Worker and emits a render tree the host draws.

Compatibility
One tool (artifact) with two rendering paths and an on-disk artifact layer. The default compiled path (engine dil) runs a declarative DIL document in a DOM-less Worker inside the frame and emits a render tree the host draws with native DOM, so there is no path for code inside a card to reach the host's elements; an html escape hatch lets the frame draw a self-contained document itself for canvas, WebGL, D3 or a custom simulation. Artifacts are persisted with version history, so asking for a change patches the same artifact in place and a card from a previous session is still patched in place after an app restart.
