exoticknight/dsh-system1
A typed System One decision service for DSH plugins: consumer plugins call ctx.system1.decide(), and the bundle also exposes a system1_decide agent tool so the main model can hand yes/no checks, classification and scoring to System One. It ships built-in providers for TypeSafe/Jev, Laya and Cloudflare Clef, with a pluggable provider contract and a configurable fallback chain.
dsh-system1 provides a typed System One decision service for DeepSeek Harness plugins: consumer plugins call ctx.system1.decide() with primitives — noul (probability a proposition is true), choice (candidate key plus the full probability distribution) and score (expected zero-based level plus the distribution) — interpret the results, and choose their own actions. The service provides request and response validation, per-question results, cancellation, timeouts, provider registration and execution metadata, and ships built-in providers connecting to TypeSafe/Jev, Laya and Cloudflare Clef over the System One HTTP protocol, with a public provider contract for other backends (Cloudflare uses provider cloudflare with clef, clef-flash or clef-omni). Once installed the agent can also call the system1_decide tool without a consumer plugin — handing yes/no checks, classification and scoring to System One and deciding the next step from the returned probabilities. The bundle's system1-tool component provides the tool and is enabled by default; settings let you choose a default service and model, add fallback models in order, configure connections and store keys in DSH credentials (environment variables also supported).
Install
dsh plugin --profile headless add github:exoticknight/dsh-system1Copied verbatim from the README's 'Install from GitHub' block. The repository includes the compiled lib/ files required by the plugin, so installation needs no local checkout or manually constructed archive path, and the bundled patch mounts the service and built-in providers.
Compatibility
Requirements: Node.js 22.19+ in the 22.x line or Node.js 24, Cordis @deepseek-ai/cordis 4.x, and dsh >=0.1.7-rc.1 <0.3.0; the README verified the Loader with dsh 0.1.7-rc.1, 0.1.7-rc.2 and 0.2.0-rc.2. Defaults are model jev-latest, provider id typesafe, and an 800 ms timeout per model attempt; each fallback gets the full timeout budget, so total request time grows with chain length (adjust timeoutMs for slow backends).
