DSH-RAG is a local knowledge-base plugin for DeepSeek Harness Web: it turns explicitly authorized local folders into named, incrementally synchronized knowledge bases and, on an explicit /rag <question> turn, completes hybrid retrieval (local multilingual BM25, optionally SiliconFlow embeddings and reranking) before the model answers, showing verifiable source cards with exact file locations.
DSH-RAG is a local knowledge-base plugin for DeepSeek Harness Web. It turns explicitly authorized local folders into named, incrementally synchronized knowledge bases and, on an explicit /rag <question> turn, completes retrieval before the model answers so grounding does not depend on the model deciding to call a tool. Retrieval is hybrid: local multilingual BM25 works with no API key or network, and SiliconFlow can optionally add embeddings, local vectors, RRF fusion and reranking. Local documents (PDF, DOCX, PPTX, Markdown, UTF-8 text) are parsed with incremental indexing, file-level checkpoints and watcher debouncing. Regular chat never touches local documents; retrieval is scoped to the knowledge bases selected for the current session, with one-turn @knowledge-base overrides. Source cards show the knowledge base, file, structural context, excerpt and exact page/slide/paragraph/line reference, and the open action sends only an opaque source ID that the host re-validates.

Compatibility
Requires Node.js ^22.19.0 or >=24.0.0 and pnpm on PATH. Tested with DeepSeek Harness 0.1.1-rc.2 (developer preview). Authorized paths are normalized and checked with realpath (symlink, junction, UNC and path-escape cases rejected); derived data lives under $DSH_HOME/dsh-rag/. English README with a Simplified Chinese translation.
