kittimzhe/dsh-session-recall

Deterministic cross-session full-text retrieval for DeepSeek Harness: a model-facing recall tool that searches the agent's own past session transcripts through the trusted ctx.sessionQuery seam — "that bug we fixed last week" — building a persistent FTS5 index on first search and rendering hits as a native search card.

dsh-session-recall adds deterministic cross-session full-text retrieval to DeepSeek Harness: a model-facing recall tool lets the agent search its own past session transcripts — 'that bug we fixed last week', 'the font we chose for my resume' — through the trusted ctx.sessionQuery seam. The first search builds a persistent FTS5 index with no extra setup, and the tool surfaces the best-matching event per session, each hit carrying the session id, a best-effort title, the date and a match snippet rendered as a native search card in the Web UI. Call shapes cover the current project only, every session on the machine (all_projects: true), one session's events (session_id), and paged results (limit, cursor). It sits in a session toolchain with dsh-session-export (evidence — 'what exactly happened in this session?') and dsh-session-eval (measurement — 'was that session good?'), all reading the same seam.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-session-recall

Copied verbatim from the README's Install block; the same README documents a github:kittimzhe/dsh-session-recall form and states the shipped web/agent profiles qualify (they mount the tools and sessionQuery services).

Compatibility

Requires Node.js 20 or 22 and a DSH profile that mounts the tools and sessionQuery services (the shipped web / agent profiles qualify). The first search builds a persistent FTS5 index automatically; the tool reads through the same trusted ctx.sessionQuery seam as the companion dsh-session-export and dsh-session-eval plugins.
