lastorder/dsh-llm-trace-plugin

Captures the literal HTTP request and response of every LLM provider call — the exact bytes on the wire, provider-native field names and raw SSE frames — and lets you browse them in a Wire Trace session tab. It works at the wire layer, with no harness concepts: where a harness-level tracer sees normalized objects, this plugin sees only what actually left the process and what came back, each trace carrying session id, turn and step.

dsh-llm-trace-plugin captures the literal HTTP request and response of every LLM provider call — the exact bytes on the wire, provider-native field names and raw SSE frames — and lets you browse them in a Wire Trace session tab. It works at the wire layer with no harness concepts at all: where a harness-level tracer observes the normalized GenerateOptions / StreamChunk objects the harness builds (provider-neutral, aware of sessionId / turn / step), this plugin sees only what actually left the process and what actually came back.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-llm-trace-plugin

Copied verbatim from the README's Install section, which states npm is the supported path (the published package ships a prebuilt dist/); the README also documents pinning @0.4.1 and a source-checkout build path.

Compatibility

npm is the supported install path because the repo ships TypeScript source, not a committed dist/ — a git-spec or link: checkout gets source only and the plugin declares no prepare script (deliberately, so pnpm ≥10 never needs an allowBuilds approval), so you must build it yourself from the checkout before installing. Update or remove it by package name.
