LAU-MARS/dsh-cad

An embedded 3D/2D CAD viewer plus a native OCCT parametric modeling tool family in the DSH Web UI, so the agent builds and inspects real B-rep geometry — sketches, booleans, fillets, assemblies, drawings — step by step.

dsh-cad embeds a 3D/2D CAD viewer and a native parametric modeling tool family in the DeepSeek Harness Web UI, so the agent can build and inspect CAD geometry step by step while you watch. It reads STL/OBJ/STEP/IGES/BREP/DCPRT (3D) and DXF/SVG (2D) in a resident viewport with an Onshape-style ViewCube, face/edge picking and live measurement; models through primitives, profile extrusion, loft, sweep, revolve, booleans, all-edge fillet/chamfer, shell, draft and patterns on exact OCCT B-reps; keeps standalone named sketches that rebuild every dependent feature when edited; manages multiple named documents under .dsh-cad/docs/; and produces GB first-angle engineering drawings with true hidden-line removal, exporting SVG/DXF or STEP/STL on demand. A native ansatz-wasm constraint solver adds entity/constraint modeling, solve-with-writeback and parametric kinematic sweeps, and the same operation family can run on an external FreeCAD console or on Onshape over its signed REST API.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-cad

Copied verbatim from the README's Installation section, which states the installer applies the bundled cordis.patch.yml (declared in the dsh.bundle manifest) automatically, so nothing is configured by hand.

Compatibility

A DSH Web UI plugin for a web profile with Node.js >= 22. Uses occt.ts 7.9.3 as the primary modeling kernel (opencascade.js stays a fallback backend), with ansatz-wasm as an npm wasm dependency for the geometric constraint solver — no Rust toolchain and no native binary. Optional executors: a local FreeCAD console, or Onshape over its signed REST API with no local install.
