orziz/odai

odai is a governance-powered general task-execution framework for DeepSeek Harness: calling /odai aligns the real objective, facts, assumptions, authorization, risks and acceptance, then takes the shortest sufficient path, pulling in specialist skills and domain guidance only when the task needs them. It ships as two independently installable pieces - a Plugin that renders the Control Center in the Web UI and an Agent installed as a profile bundle declaring the odai preset - with soft-concise output by default and an optional economy mode whose provider-output ceiling defaults to 500 tokens.

odai is a governance-powered general task-execution framework that lives inside DeepSeek Harness. Calling /odai makes the agent align the real objective, facts, assumptions, authorization, risks and acceptance before acting, then take the shortest sufficient path, combining the right capabilities, acting, verifying and continuing until the task is genuinely deliverable rather than merely answered. Governance stays nearly invisible on simple work while ambiguity, complexity, risk or domain needs automatically increase the depth of handling: the agent asks only when the missing answer would change the goal/scope/authorization/acceptance/risk/stop line, verifies what it can from files, commands, logs, tests or project context before asking, and avoids claiming something was tested, delegated or reviewed when it was not. It ships as two independent pieces - a Plugin that renders the Control Center surface in the Web UI and an Agent installed as a profile bundle that declares the odai preset - each defaulting to soft-concise output with an optional economy mode whose provider-output ceiling defaults to 500 and never changes child-agent, compaction, checkpoint or internal context budgets.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add odai-dsh-plugin

Copied verbatim from the README's DeepSeek Harness install block ("DSH users can install either integration independently"); the command requires pnpm on PATH. The sibling Agent integration installs separately with npx odai-dsh-agent install.

Compatibility

The 0.2.50 source candidate supports DSH 0.2.0-rc.1 and retains 0.1.7-rc.1 compatibility via open DSH npm peers (the Agent admits >=0.1.7-rc.1). The README cautions that published 0.2.38 is rejected by DSH 0.1.7 (use 0.2.39 or newer there), and that published 0.2.37 targets exactly dsh@0.1.5-rc.2. English README with a 中文 translation.
