dsh-plugin-taobao adds Taobao/Tmall product search to DeepSeek Harness as agent tools. Chinese e-commerce sites gate search behind a login wall, so an agent browsing them normally gets an empty result page; this plugin keeps a long-lived browser session and, when that session is not logged in, hands back a QR-code URL for the user to scan rather than dead-ending the agent on an auth wall. It provides taobao_search (returns titles, prices, sales counts, shops and item URLs), taobao_login (starts the QR login and returns the URL of a page showing the code) and the read-only taobao_session (is the browser up, is the account logged in, which page is open). If the session is not logged in, taobao_search still succeeds, returning needLogin: true plus qrUrl, and the next call works once you have scanned.
Install
dsh plugin --profile web add @fushouhai/dsh-plugin-taobaoCopied verbatim from the README's install block; the README also documents path-spec installs from a checkout (link:), which need their own npm install first.
Compatibility
Requires Node.js >= 22 (the browser driver uses the built-in fetch and WebSocket) and a Chrome/Chromium binary (defaulting to /usr/bin/google-chrome, overridable with $TB_CHROME). The first login needs a graphical display: with $DISPLAY set the browser runs headful so a Taobao slider or risk-control challenge can be solved by hand, and the window is kept minimized until a challenge appears. Nothing needs to be built (lib/ is the source, no scripts). English README.
